Ghost town?

Right, so I've been away for a while, kinda forgot about JJ after a while and I've only just rediscovered it. I remembered all the great fun I had on this forum back when the original JJ was still a thing so I'd thought I'd revisit.
What has happened?
Everything seems so dead, with only a few sections actually being posted in on rare occasions.
Can someone explain :(
Help

Hey, my guess is that most of those who used to play Junk Jack X have moved on to other games like Terraria, Minecraft, The Blockheads, Clash of Clans...Some of them have busier lives, so they don't play or post as much as they used to. They take a break (just like you did) or lose their backups and don't want to start over.Whatever the reason, it's life. I will probably leave too when the game goes on Steam.

I'm just sadly burnt out of the game at the moment.

I've moved on to other games, the electricty update brought me back for awhile, but I kinda just want online massively multiplayer games so I don't feel like such a loner at 3am in the morning when all of my friends have gone to bed.

Here's a post on the Pixbits blog from early August: https://pixbits.wordpress.com/2015/08/0 ... nt-update/

IMHO Part of the reason could be that Pixbits, being an indie company and lacking in big advertising and marketing, has its JJX community growing at a much slower rate (esp. in comparison to the big-budget games most of us are familiar with). To keep people playing JJX is one thing, but to attract new people to the game requires more than word of mouth. New content might help retain veteran players, but in order for a community to sustain, not to mention grow, JJX will either need more media attention or start advertising.

We may get more people to come here after the JJX Steam release.

It's sad to see how quiet the forums are, I went to play JJx earlier today. But I just didn't feel motivated to play. :(

Definitely, as such would allow PixBits to cater to a much larger audience. Nice avatar, btw.
