Jesus Christ, the republican platform is an atrocity.

I have to wonder, with all of these so-called "Christian" amendments to the platform, are the Republicans deliberately trying to make us a radicalized religious state? Because that's scary. With a fundamentalist republican president and a disconnected from reality congress, I could see the US turn into an ISIS-like church-state -- except with the largest military in history.

Assuming that their insistence on burning "clean" coal doesn't kill us first.

Unrelated, I know, but this thread is a really good read. I just wanted to put that out there. Just ignore me. Amen.

RNC official cites 'My Little Pony' to defend Melania Trump>link<

Then "Twilight Sparkle" responded (twice actually) >link<

Is this the real life? Is this just fantasy?

Not gonna lie, finding out Melania Trump plagiarized her entire speech from Michelle Obama makes me happy XD

As an Aussie, I'm sitting here wondering how any person in America can think trump is a good nomination for president

All of your polititans are bad tbh :asd:
But Hillary becoming president would be a huge step, the first female president, right after the first black president no less..

In any case, I'm not trying to pick sides, but trump winning seems like there will be a lot of things that will go wrong. Granted that's what everyone said about Tony Abbot being Prime Minister here in Australia.. Then again it was a stalemate government and nobody could pass any bills.
