[15/02/2013] Problems with DDOSing

We have had a huge problem with a chap called Nimexian who has been ddosing coolkid214.
I would like to remind everyone not to give out your IP or Skype to people who you think are suspicious.
And if anyone knows anything about defense against ddosers it would be useful.
Coolkid214 did not give out his ip but was friended on Skype and accidently accepted and his IP was then taken.
Just a warning.

Thanks to everyone who helped out in making the Harlem Shake video on the server we really appreciate your acting skills and helpfulness.
If you guys missed the filming, then I apologies, however we will be doing more videos on the server in the time to come!

[16/02/2013] Banned the DDOSer

Nimexian has been banned for good as well as his altaccounts and accounts we believes to be working with him in ddosing.
His whole life on the server has been rolled back so it will be like he was never here. However, I am unsure if that means you get all your raided items back.
I am sorry we did not ban him sooner. But he was holding coolkid214 hostage to ddosing. We will continue to try and improve this server.
Coolkid214 has changed his IP and followed tutorials on antiddosing so he should be OK now. And nimexian will have no use in ddosing him again. Cool kids IP was obtained through Skype by nimexian so just a warning to people adding strangers on Skype.
The admins, moderators and staff will be playing fully legit on survival. But if you do see someone abusing their power please say so this matter can be dealt with.
