Computers can't like people
And they have no gender

Incorrect, all computers are female.

As a note, using terms like "gay" and "homosexual" in derogatory fashions in the future is not tolerated here and in the future will result in temp bans.

But what if I used "gay" in the sentance
I went out and had a gay time last night.

In which "gay" refers to "happy".

We don't need to be that strict Stuart, if it's used as an insult to another member, then something should be done, but when talking about inanimate objects, I don't see much problem with it.

I suppose I'm the tiebreaker then. I agree with Stu, using such terms as insults is unacceptable, even if you are only insulting a computer.

I swear, if the new CEO screws this up for the community, that's over 50 thousand plus people that'll try to get at him. That's only the PC version... People on YouTube are saying it'll be real damn hard to screw up, but knowing Microsoft, they'll probably add DLC like... Damn, I can't remember if EA has do with the Sims 4, anyways, I hear jokes circulating around like "Swimming and Pools DLC."
That's defintely greed talking there, couldn't add it in, even though they could. >___>

From what I've heard lately, nothing will change on the YouTube or other media representations of the game. And the staff that are currently at Mojang are still the ones who will be developing Minecraft. The only people who are leaving are Notch and a few other founders.

Which means it's still technically "Mojang" developing Minecraft. Which means there won't be any DLC being implemented any time soon.

They aren't alive and can't think(unless it's some sort of huge supercomputer or something) so no.

Correction; they aren't self aware. They are programmed to answer specific questions, but I'm not really saying you're wrong either.

About the Mojang thing, a number of people had already left, hadn't they? There's a whole lot of speculation about everything that can happen. Like Amazon buying Twitch, people say that eventually Amazon will start to slowly replace Twitch employees over time because things are going somewhere different then where it was meant to go. Twitch people leave, Amazon starts to take over, etc., but that's probably a whole bunch of baloney like the end of 2012, but who knows.

I will always apply the pronoun "she" to a computer.
Therefore, in my eyes, computers are always female.

There are a lot of gamers out there who are of the same opinion.

That's not a derogatory manner then. ;)
