1.8 server APIs?

PostFri Nov 07, 2014 1:35 am

Anyone have any experience with any of the new 1.8 server APIs? I need a new one that is fairly mature and has javadocs. I've heard Glowstone is good because you don't have to learn a new api however it has a lot of bugs. Sponge seems the most popular but I have heard the dev is messy. Anyone have any suggestions of which to use/learn?

I'm just waiting for Bukkit 1.8 or Spigot 1.8

Spigot uses the protocol 'hack' so it isn't really on 1.8. And since spigot is a fork of bukkit I'm pretty sure it won't come back.

It got taken down due to a DMCA request. I already know most of the bukkit api but I need a new one.

Did it? Daum.

EDIT- I did some researching and found that it was taken down cos they used a open source licence but didn't actually have the code 'opened'.

Here's a reddit link to people discussing it- http://www.reddit.com/r/Games/comments/ ... ft_server/
