Terraria ios isn't that bad I mean it could be worse and plus if it was exactly like the PC it would crash 9/10 times it takes time a couple of updates and it will be a noteworthy game!

Terraria is so overrated.. People are asking "Where is hardmode?" and still giving 5 stars, if you want something else added, give it a low rating else the developer will see that the game doesn't need to be updated.

Gee, threads derail often around here, don't they?

To OP:

Your question honestly depends on what version you're looking at.

The PC version is bloody amazing. It's got at least several times the amount of content than most of the other versions, since it has stuff like the Crimson, overhauled floating islands, rain, pirate invasions, armor dyes, paint, hardmode dungeons, the Lihzahrd, and many, many other things. If you have a PC that can run both the game and Steam, go for that in a heartbeat.

The game is mediocre at best on consoles. In a nutshell, the console port is an older, outdated version of the game with a few extra features the PC doesn't. The twist is that these features were developed by a so-so programmer on a tight deadline, so this content almost entirely consists of piss-awful recolors that actually make the game worse. However, if you really want to play Terraria, but have a low-end PC, than go for this.

If you're interested in the mobile version, though, forget it. This version is similar to the console version, except it's even more watered-down, since it lacks any hardmode content. This also means that very few of the weapons do anything interesting, and you can go through the entire game in a few hours. If you want to play block-mining game on the go, then just stick with JJX. You could probably squeeze more gameplay hours out of that, even if you're well into the game.
