Well, given that the game had been out for around 3 years at that point, he'd of had all the required items (If he created this legitmatly) and thus, I also assume that he got his inspiration from a book or movie..

Most of it is I had a stock pile of material. Some of it is not though. The library and all the show cases are not legit. All the cows and the blue cloth ocean where the pirate ship is, is not legit. Also the Whiterock Keep area was carved from duplicated dynamite.That's about it everything else was legit.
The Zelda games inspired me puzzle wise. The story though was just me coming up with something interesting.

Thanks, I not sure if I would need a completely empty map though I like to leave the map as un alter as possible. If I do make a map it would probably involve the use of world portals. I'm not sure how that will work out though.
However, I don't think I'll be making a map until certain features have been implemented. So will see. I don't even know if the features would ever be added.
