You need to put it into the "Junk Jack.app" folder shown at the top of the second pic. Are you?
Also, try just dragging it into "Junk Jack.app" with your mouse, it should ask you if you want to replace.

Umm, where's everything else in that folder? There should be like 200 files in thereā€¦
And are you restarting the JJ app after doing this? You have to quit (double tap home button and press red -) and restart for it to load your textures.

You're dragging it into a empty spot, right?

Okay, if nothing happened when you double clicked the home button you've got an older device. Just click it once then reopen JJ.

You don't have to drag it to an empty spot. Does it ask you if you want to replace the current file? Say yes/replace.

9. Once "JunkJack.app" is opened, go back to your edited textures in your files and drag them from your files, into the i-FunBox window on the right. i uninstalled iexplorer and installed fun box now since this is very unclear;

This is actually pretty clear, and I had no problems understanding it. Here I'll explain it...

So here's what I do:
Rename the texture/crosshair WHILE it is in the library or wherever you're dragging the crosshair from; rename it to something like crosshairg.png or something, doesn't really matter. Then you DRAG it to I explorer, and rename that crosshair you just dragged into I explorer back to crosshair.png or whatever file you're replacing. While you're doing everything you should have the charger cord into you're computer and into the I device. Now delete junk jack from multi task bar if it is in it, then start up jj.

If that doesn't work idk what to tell you.

Renamed it to crosshair.png and it shows both the original cross hair and the one I added, no replacing no nothing.... wtf?! :evil: :!: :?: :dunno: is it okay to delete the original file???

If it's not replacing it, don't delete the original.
Try just renaming it crosshair.
