64x64 Not Supported?

PostSun Jun 24, 2012 6:03 pm

I recently tried to change the rocks.png to 64x64, but it messed my game up!

I just thought it was strange not to have any 64x64+ support.

Oh, well...

Yeah. Unlike with Minecraft you can't change the resolution of the graphics files. Maybe they'll open up that option in the future.

It's te way images are coded into the game. Unlike minecraft, where a texture is slapped onto a 3D form, the blocks you see are the blocks you get. Their exact dimensions are coded into the game as its location in the png files. Because of that, you can't change the resolution.

Seems a bit disappointing that you can't make a super real texture pack. Then again, lots of cartoony textures are also good.

I figured this out when I "attempted" to put the skyrim texture pack on it
