Lighting up worlds hexing method broke in 1.2.1...however...

...I am working on a bash script that simply sets the lighting bits without interfering with the other bits.

Will report with results later, and upload a fully lit up map. for 1.2.1.

Here is my bash script:

off1=1119
input1=2F

while [ $count1 -lt 196609 ]; do

done


It takes 1.5-2 hours to completely light up a world...much longer than before, however, much more accurate.

Here is a 1.2.1 virgin world completely lit up by the sun...keep in mind, at night time, the whole world will go semi-dark.

I took me an hour or two to find antanium but I found it legit. But it was only one lump I got, I can't even make an ingot with one lump so I was mad and I duped it into 65535 blocks, lumps, and ingots

@Kando: where do i put this code to make my world light up.

Its shell script, you have to run it on your iphone or linux box...or apparantly osx terminal.

Hmm, interesting. I'd thought that the way you were lighting them up they'd stay lit all the time...
