Lighting up worlds hexing method broke in 1.2.1...however...

Mine aren't lit all the time. Only during the day.
But mine have tunnels already.

Possibly, but the items json is now locked and i cannot get item id's anymore.

BUT I am working on hexing in hammers on my display shelf...

So Hexing in items would essentially be a lot of trial and error now. And notes

More like the community sharing every treasure they find, and someone keeping a master set. Then we can decipher the id's from the master set, and create our own item id database.

Its too bad the wiki doesnt keep item ID's like the minecraft wiki does.

We essentially should create a master set, with pics, of every treasure and item with their ID's.

How would you find the item id's from there. Get, say, 321 of an item, find the hex equivalent in the game, and write that down?

Save a world with a showcase. Copy it. Now in the original world, place the new item. Save it immediately.

Hex compare the 2 files and find the item code.

Sorry for half gravedigging... But yeah, most HEX program's have a compare feature... Easy! And then with the actual items (charinfo.dat) I have a .json from beta still. So I could give that to you so you can get all the item ID's (except the new treasures)

I think he sent me his copy of all the ID's earlier (except treasures).
It's fun trying to figure everything out.

Do you already have a list of the ID's in DEC & HEX side-by-side? That'll be a very useful spreadsheet.

You can convert DEC to Hex and Vice versa...
