Missing Christmas Lights Variant

I seem to be only able to place the left lights variant.

Se that white gear thing to the left? That shows up when you open a chest. I couldn't find it in the interface and I've been wondering what file it's in. You can only see it with a transparent inventory.

You don't need a transparent inventory to see it.
I occasionally see it around the edges of the inventory.

This whole year I've been playing the game, I never ever saw that!

I think it's mainly for ipad users, so they know what chest is open

What does it do?

It does nothing really, just shows which chest you're in. Which is pretty much pointless on an iPod, since there's so little space around the inventory. But would be useful on an iPad.
