Hard to say what could be triggering the savegame corruption, but most save corruption is due to a glitch in the hardware (nothing serious or unexpected, all chips have some glitches in memory). But yeah corrupted files are really a big mystery as to what can trigger them. Take the gamebryo engine for example. Games built off that engine (Elderscrolls: IV/III(?), Fallout 3 and others) were notorious for saves getting corrupted if you quicksave to often in a short period of time (lol I would know my F5 button finger gets itchy

). But with New Vegas (I think it was NV but it could have been another game using gamebryo) which was built on the same engine didn't have any problems with corrupting from too many quicksaves. Haha if someone could figure out exactly what triggers save corruption, you could get a coding job anywhere
