Anyway, I generated a new world and I'm putting my stuff into it. Fingers Crossed it doesn't corrupt.
I think I'm gonna have to generate and move every few updates so it is less likely to happen.

Well, this only seems to happen to you.
I'm still on my original world from 1.0.3, it's the first or second world I ever generated.

It may be display recorder, as you are the only person who uses it for extended periods of time.

Maybe.
I've used display recorder with JJ some, but not a lot. And not for more than 10 minutes or so.

Hence why I said, extended periods of time.

Hard to say what could be triggering the savegame corruption, but most save corruption is due to a glitch in the hardware (nothing serious or unexpected, all chips have some glitches in memory). But yeah corrupted files are really a big mystery as to what can trigger them. Take the gamebryo engine for example. Games built off that engine (Elderscrolls: IV/III(?), Fallout 3 and others) were notorious for saves getting corrupted if you quicksave to often in a short period of time (lol I would know my F5 button finger gets itchy :P ). But with New Vegas (I think it was NV but it could have been another game using gamebryo) which was built on the same engine didn't have any problems with corrupting from too many quicksaves. Haha if someone could figure out exactly what triggers save corruption, you could get a coding job anywhere :)
