Bluriness on new devices

PostSun Oct 21, 2012 10:17 pm

On the new iDevices ( iPod touch 5G, iPhone 5) junk jack seems very blurry. The pixels aren't crisp and the game looks rather ugly :(. I tested it out on the iPhone 5 and the itouch 5G and they are both blurry. If you wan fi can post a picture. Even ALCRON experiences this problem.

Can you please post us a screenshot? The game should look exactly like on the 4/4s, except from the black borders.

Bluriness on new devices

How about someone posts a picture of the same exact surroundings in both pics that would be better.. But if you look in closely it does look a bit blurry

The screenshot is perfectly normal. That's how Apple scales the non retina applications for newer devices like the iPhone 4,4s and 5, and not a problem with Junk Jack.

It doesn't show it much on the pic but it is very noticeable while playing, sorry for double post.

This app is not "optimized for retina." The graphics are intentionally pixelated.
When scaled, this leads to slight blurriness. This will most likely be resolved in JJ2. Source: my educated guess.

It seems like if they're pixelated they'd stay pixelated. But it doesn't look like it.

Maybe when it gets optimized for the screen it won be blurry? Or maybe jj should become Regina display, bu I'm not to sure what that would di

I resized the big one so that it's the same size as the small one. Image vs Image

The former is 5g. The latter is 3g. Obvious contrast is obvious.
Thanks, Stuart98.

Wouldn't optimized for the screen and retina display be the same thing?

Ah thanks for the pic editing, now you can clearly see a difference.
