Fruit bearing glitch: possibly

PostSun Oct 28, 2012 5:35 pm

I have found that when there are a few fruits or vegetables on a plant, tapping doesn't make them all come off. I'm skeptical about this one. Is it supposed to be like this? It has never happened in older versions.

I tried to reproduce the bug with no luck.
What plant or vegetable had this issue? What tool were you using to tap the fruits (or bare hand)? Thanks for your help :)

It happened with pumpkins, banana tree, cocoa tree, apple tree, watermelon vines, lemon tree and a few more. Although about 3 minutes later (except for lemon tree) they can come off. It could be that you guys implemented this feature forva more realistic effect.(as though the fruit was not yet ripe enough) I always use my hands for fear of breaking the plant. ( as I've had this happen before, I broke a grapevine with a pick) I hope I'm helping! Thanks for trying to see what it was XsX.
:approved: I can't really show you a pic of it or a video although it does help you guys.

No, that shouldn't happen, unless you are not in range. You must be near the plant to drop the fruits with a tap :sisi:

Let us know if this is not the case, and you cannot make the fruits fall even when you are near the plant, thanks again for your help :D

I noticed this too.
On some of my plants it looks like there are 3-4 fruits on it. Then I hit it and 2 fall off, but 1-2 stay...

I am within the normal hitting range for a fist, and yes it does have more than the usual 2 fruits but the other one doesn't come off. At the same moment that is. I'm afraid it must be some sort of bug then. Minor yes but a bug.
