The new fish tanks are really cool, however I thought it would be cool if they were extendable to the left and right and also stackable so fishes can swim through more than one tank.

By the way: This is a bit OT, but still JJX related. When translating the game inti german I came across two new planets, Lilith and Yuca. Are they planned features for the future? This is sooo exciting

They have been in the game files since the original Beta, so I wouldn't get your hopes up any time soon about that.

We already thought about extendable fish tanks and I even coded the behavior but there are side effects which are impossible to fix which makes it almost impossible to have unfortunately.

Could you at least make them stack on top of each other, even if they don't merge. Please.

I managed to make them work horizontally with some dirty hacks (like warping home a fish which exited its own tank when the tank containing it is destroyed), but I'm unsure about making them stackable since stackable support is handled in a custom way for specific things (see addons, chest and similars)

Awesome! And if we can't have fish tanks stackable, could we have them so they could be placed anywhere? That ability would be helpful for a pond where you want a fish swimming around the middle of it..

And am I the only one who feels like the fish are just floating there in nothing? I feel like there should be some kind of blueish tint to the tank..

The graphics of the fish tank are not to be considered final yet
If required we could use 3 variants of the block (for the left-end, middle and right-end) but in case you will be warned to remove all of them before updating to the new beta because the block would be moved and its id would change = high change of rain and crashes on existing world with old fish tanks.

Okay, already excited for the next beta. I also have a question regarding the translation into german of JJX. Since there are new items and so on, when will we have to translate them?

Of course you will, the language files will be updated accordingly, in any case before implementing translation we still have a lot of work to do so unfortunately you must calm down your spirit

I was hoping there would be water in the tank but the tank wouldn't be completely full. It would be nice if you could tap a tank with a bucket of water, lava or acid and then the tank will be filled with that liquid I just place a blue cloth block behind the tank, it's like a 'water replacement'

Yeah, true. But the blue cloth block doesn't look as good as putting water/ lava/ acid over the tank.
