Xeno portal pieces are found on both Alba and Thetis is as far as I know. Make sure it is those planets you are looking on. Just try to dig deep down and then dig horizontally and zoom out a lot, the portal pieces glow so you should hopefully be able to find them

Remember to play on an Adventure Mode world to look for Portal Pieces, not Standalone Worlds. On Standalone Worlds, no Portal Pices spawn at all!
