Am I the only one who still cares about this game?
If we don't want it to die, we have to be active on the forums and play the game!

I've seen another of my favorite game: Blablaland slowly decay and die and I won't let this one do the same!

Junk Miners unite! :)

Bringing the activity back to the forum is easier said than done as AFAIK most forumers don't even play Junk Jack anymore.

This is why we need to bring the new gen of players here!
People are still playing this game! I know it might seam hard, but if we trust in this game, we can save it!

The hope is nice, but don't be naive. If there was a big group of players active ingame then chances are the official forum would be active too, and it isn't, so go figure...

AFanOfStuff is correct, a majority of us no longer play Junk Jack.
There is no real drive, no real pull, making you want to come back over and over again. Which is the problem with sandbox games. No objectives.

I've been playing a few different games, Black Desert, NieR: Automata, Warframe as well as Destiny 2. These games give you tastes of what is to come and tease you with potential improvements further down the track, but feel easy enough to progress (excluding black desert, but it does it in a way that can keep you entertained endlessly if you enjoy extreme repetition).
NieR: Automata was extremely story driven and you felt compelled to continue the game to find out all the facts you could.

Junk Jack lacked these, so it lacked a motive for people to continue to return to.
When/ if Jack/ XsX read this, if they ever consider a 2nd game, I hope they keep these things in mind. I'd love to be hooked on a pixbits story driven game/ slow progression game.

Welp!

They surely aren't dead and they're still working on Junk Jack since they've just updated the Pixbits website!

Aaaah the Pixbits website, always 8 months late!

Took a while to update it from Junk Jack to Junk Jack X after the second was released.
Took a while to update it from Junk Jack X to Junk Jack after it changed name, was massively updated and was released on PC & Android.

All the reason why modding should be allowed. It seems that every game that condones modding is self-sufficient in the fact that the devs don't need to constantly release new content for the game to stay alive. Because the users are doing it for them. But as it has already been said, I don't think PixBits will return to save Junk Jack for this to take effect.

The problem with modding is that for the moment, the majority of the community plays on iOS.
It would be really difficult to allow mods on iOS without jailbreak. They would have to add an in game store, but this would also mean constantly updating the game to add new mods.

Also, I don't think that many people are interested in making or have the knowledge to make Junk Jack mods as the community isn't big enough.

The fact the game was first released on iOS, and that the PC and android release brought very few people to the forums would suggest that the majority of people are on iOS
