Can iOS Worlds Become Android Worlds?

PostSun Apr 23, 2017 6:06 pm

Like others who have an Android and used to play on iOS, I'm wondering if the file architecture for worlds the same across both mobile platforms? As in, can I import my world file from when I played JJx (when it was called that) from my iOS stuff to my Android worlds?

You can use your iOS world on PC so there is a chance it might work.
Have you heard of Junk Jack? Yeah it's pretty cool...

Anything from before version 3.0 is currently not compatible with anything, so no you can't use your old worlds.

But like Idevenk said, worlds do cross between iOS and PC so any new worlds should work across any device.

Yeah, I've been searching around for the data, I think it may only be accessible through a computer or rooted phone. The data may be set to "private".

I read that most apps keep private data in root/data/data, if you haven't checked there.
Edit: Didn't want to make a topic about this since it's a really dumb question, but isn't smelting using an iron lava bucket supposed to return the bucket? I thought it was, but it used up my bucket for some reason :dunno:

Awesome! Someone should add that to the Sharing Worlds stickied post that Stuart made in Your Creations.

Crafting returns an empty bucket, but not smelting. Because if it did you'd have free unlimited heat, I suppose.
