Game crashing

PostSat May 13, 2017 1:31 pm

I was working on my mega build and I hadn't placed near 600 goo torches, 200 iron high cabinets and 70 silver chests and all of a sudden my game crashed. About 30m of work just disappeared but also all the items I used disappeared as well. I know I had saved because I was switching between worlds in the period of the 30 minutes. How do I prevent this from happeneing again.

Idk but inventory is saved every time you open/close it. The world is saved every time you press pause or exit the world. Unless the world file itself caused the crash, I don't know why it wouldn't save your progress

P1nk is correct. At least that's how it should work.
The world is saved each time you pause, and the one most recent previous save is kept as a backup.

I don't know how your world could be set back more than one "pause" ago.
