Zooming Out / High Res Pictures

PostWed Sep 04, 2013 10:05 am

Might be a bit of a strange request.

But is there a way you could allow us to Zoom out more than we can currently on the two stages.
Its a big ass place and hard to see where you are against your home / base when mining.

A feature that would be nice is a Screenshot button that will take a picture of the whole level / world / map
in a High Res.
Allowing you to Zoom in on the picture to see what is where etc etc.
This feature would be good for letting people show off there world in a single image instead of having to upload multiple screens.

agreed, mostly.
the Hi-Res part would be hard, since if the entire world was zoomed out, the blocks would be TIIINNNYYY.
and with all the pixels that mak eup the block, it would be very blurry/Low-Res for people with small screens.
also, i find it hard to implement an entire map view in one show.

but anyway, nice idea.
welcome to the forums!
Sincerely, Solly.

The issue with being able to see so far, is that it would make it too easy to find caves and such.
1. Junk-Jack-Wiki
2. The world is big, 256 blocks high and 768 across.
3. Who is John Galt?
4. Lack of objection does not indicate consent.
5. We scream, we shout, we wail, we cry; but in the end we all must die.
