If you we're a moderator you wouldn't say that.
So why disrespect Chris? He's just trying to help the community.
oh trust me. i've been around here for quite awhile; i know my way around. (and i'm quite the secret grammar nazi)
If i was a moderator, i'd still say that. I'm not disrespecting him, i'm just saying that it's not necessary. It doesn't seem right to make lot's of other people's lives harder, just to please one or two people. Mastery and twelve have been moderating fine without all the titling rules. All you have to do is look to where things are located.
Chris wrote:>In the "Multiplayer" sub-forum, if you're looking for someone to play multiplayer with, write "[PLAY]" then the rest of the title
Examples:
[PLAY] Looking for Someone to Mine My Terra World With
[PLAY] Building Huge Structures in Creative, Could Use Help
[PLAY] Just Started, Need Experienced Player as Guide
>In "The Market" sub-sub-forum, if you're looking to trade, write "[TRADE]" then the rest of the title
Examples:
[TRADE] Selling Full Titanium Set to Highest Bidder
[TRADE] Looking to Buy Any Rares, Will Trade Mithril
[TRADE] Rare for Rare
tell me this isn't incredibly redundant! it's in a market forum, you don't need to announce [TRADE] in the trading forum. You also don't need to announce [MULTIPLAYER] in the multiplayer forum.
I also use that "new posts" technique and have been so for a long time. It's not that hard do decipher where a topic is located, if you just look. The fact that there are pages of new posts, doesn't have anything to do with where i topic is located. We might as well put [GENERAL] in general and [CREATION] in creations. It's very pointless.
edit: just to clarify, here's where this topic is located.
