Rat Lantern.

Hi.. Ive found a trinket described as a "Rat Lantern-(fancy).-pink-
At first glance i thought it was a light.. Not a light, nor a light source. Then i thought it might be a pet, but nothing summons?

Can someone tell me what it dose? If anything?

Looking at the files it's in the area with trinkets, and should be called "rat lantern trinket"

There's also apparently a creative spawner egg for the "rat lantern" mob.

But none of that really helps.

Yeah, i find it odd that its a trinket, yet nothung summons and Stats as far as i can tell do not change. I wore it while mining in Tor to see if it like spawned more "rat lantern mobs" or if it spawned more "rats" but i didnt feel that worked either

Have you checked it for glow? Put it on and walk someplace completely dark.

Yes. I have tried that also thinking it could be a light source.
