Well it's not.
Hopefully sooner or later you will grasp that the game is greatly molded around "world-jumping" to get resources and other things.
I can almost guarantee that at least 95% of us here world-jump, because it's what you're supposed to do, especially when new updates are released.

That sucks though! It's forcing it too much.
It doesn't even make sense..
Minecraft or Terraria never had it for that very reason.
It's cheating in those games.
It should be considered cheating in this one.
I want to be able to have a survival world, and two screw around/project/adventure map worlds.
I can't do that if items transfer to each world without special chore.
It's just in the way for someone of my playing style. You have to consider everyone's point of view when making a game /:
Not just YOUR playing style and making everyone else use your playing style.

I'm not considering "my" playing style. I can't play the game, remember?

And it's not "forcing" anything. You can still technically keep one inventory per world.
(I know it's a hassle. But still, you can do it).

And I understand that "most" games are designed so that your stuff stays in each individual world.
eg. Minecraft, Terraria, etc...
But also keep in mind that originally Junk Jack was limited in its World Sizes (thank you second-gen iPods :P).
Meaning you couldn't (and still can't, really) get "everything" in one world. They're just too small.

However, for JJ2, I can defintely see Pixbits at least adding a "Keep Inventories Per World" option, for gaming-styles like yours.
But if they can't, then I hope you can come to terms with taking advantage with world-jumping, as Junk Jack is a game based around that feature, and you are only limiting yourself by not using it.
And again, it's not a feature that hinders the game. It's really just the way the game is.

PS. You can't consider everyone. If that were true, then people who would want a world-jumping feature for Minecraft would get it. But they don't.
You can't please everyone, either. But you can try to broaden certain aspects to please as many as possible.

Why can't you play the game?
I'm assuming you made it and if that's the case nothing stops you from using your own product.
You have to be able to play it do you can find flaws, glitches, improvements, ect.
And you should Atleast be able to toggle world jumping.

:sisi: I haven't played Junk Jack since my last Junk Jack video, but I'm still here. Chris is also a moderator, so he has a certain duty to the forums.
Developers play their own game, yes, but they try to leave it to the community to find bugs (There are awhole lot more community then there is Developer). The main testing is for the Beta Testers, but the ones we don't pick up, are not noticed, or hard to find. In some cases, Pixbits actually notice some glitches before anyone does, and fixes it.

Yes, my duty; it really is a priveledge, though. It's not paid, and I moderate about 6 hours every day, but I enjoy talking with you guys.
Also, BBQ, I forgot you were new to the forum, and assumed you knew my iPod was broken. Sorry 'bout that.

Oh I see.
Well that makes sense. :P
And if I made a game, I'd play it still.
It just makes sense. e.o

Why not?
It breaks down to about an hour when I first wake up, to catch up on things posted when I was sleeping.
Then 2-3 sporadically throughout the day.
Then 2-3 before I go to bed, usually when more people are on, too.
Some days are a bit more, some a bit less.
But it averages to about 6 hours a day.

I don't doubt that you're on the forums 6 hours a day, but so are a lot of non-moderators.
