A basic rundown of the current components in the feature:
Open Spoiler
Rubber Trees drop Rubber, which is crucial for lots of crafts
>Oil ponds give you Oil, which may be used as a fuel source
>Gear Plants drop little Gears, used for making complex mechanisms
>Xemonite drops Xemonite Ore, the main ingredient in crafting Teleporters
>Lectric drops Lectric Ore, used to make Lectric Strips, which will be the back-bone of creating circuits in your worlds.
(Things Lectric Strips may give power to: Light-emitting blocks, Auto-opening doors, Pistons, Teleporters, and many more things).
>Junk Blocks drop most of the above things, and also have a higher chance of dropping rare treasures


Now, this "Lectric Feature" is basically a suggestion for the game that I have taken reign of.
Back in October 2012 I had emailed Pixbits of this idea, and they said:

"Right now circuitry is not on our high priority list, but we have talked about it, and it may see the light in the future.
Feel free to send us your ideas, though, we appreciate that."


And so, here's the feature for you all to see.
And here are the things I have to do for this feature:
>Create all the graphics, e.g. Blocks, Treasures, Sneak-peek images, etc
>Come up with the Crafting Recipes
>Write up a comprehensive explanantion of how the wiring would work

Random list of things:
>After May 16th I will have 3 months, out of school, to work on this and other projects for JJ2 :D
>Yes, this whole Lectric Feature was partially inspired by Minecraft's redstone, though I am not at all copying it
>The in's and out's of this feature are subject to change if added to the game, so nothing said here is final

Also, vote in the poll so Pixbits can know exactly how many people want this in JJX.

And this is only like 10% of all the things in the concept :P
I have many more blocks to design, as well as their respective treasures.
And then I have to come up with all the crafting recipes for everything.

I rather like the idea of machines...and would be amaze if you add more and more content to this topic!

Btw what kind of vision that you had in mind on this topic?

And work hard so that your hardwork can be feeled by the peeps who play JJ2 in the future!

Thanks! Yeah, I love machines/circuitry too.
And yes, "more and more content" shall be added :D
And this topic will be for (a) me to post the new things for the feature as I make them, and (b) if you guys want, suggest things for the feature.
And I will work so hard that your feels will be exploded when you play JJ2! :P

Yeah! I was thinking that such a huge concept should be given its own biome.
And it would fit the game very well.
As in, a "Junk Yard Biome" in "Junk Jack".

Will be changed, as I know it looks too similar to the Crate Blocks.

But what is this, tekkit?
Gears should only be craftable or drops from crates and such.
