challenge first steps

You cant do this challenge anymore, but will it be deleted because its irritating me
So i cant complete the challenges.

I think you are refering to the achievement "First Steps", right? You can still get it with the follwing steps:
1) Do a backup
2) Delete items in the options menu
3) Obtain some wood while playing the game. (You should now get the achievement)
4) to get your old items back, restore items in the options menu

Actually its the craft a craftbook achievment that he's talking about.

To answer your question I think that they are going to change it so that we are able to get the achievment.

When the game was first released you were able to craft the craft book, using cow leather and paper to get the first step achievement. But this was removed because it ended up being too confusing for the newer players who had no idea how to play the game.
