There is a good wrapper for OSX actually.. It's called MacTerraria, search for it, you only need to install the game through VMWare or Bootcamp on a real Windows and then copy the executable.

Terraria is somewhat like minecraft but not really. Some things that are diffrent are corruption, bosses, npc's you can buy from, underground jungles and more.
Wizards #1 rule humans are stupid with enough motivation they will believe anything.
