Minetest?

So i want minecraft but my parents dont feel like getting a paypal account, so I got overgrowth instead ( this was a few months ago) So i was searching (today) for a free mincraft clone... I didnt want a cheap, non playable game! I found Minetest! It looks like a kind of popular game, well, used to be popular... but before I download it do any of you guys have it? Is it good? Is it a virus ?

I got it! It's actually really good for a free game! Ill take any game while i wait for JJ mac! (I dont want to pay the 30 dollars for minecraft, to be honest i dont like Mojang! Long story)

Does it have enchantments ?

If it had the same textures this would be illegal so yeah,im sure this is 100% legal
