[POLL] Remove back layer pavement blocks?

We're in the process of optimizing the layout of blocks texture, and to free some space for future things we should remove some unused blocks.

We feel that the back layer pavement blocks are not really needed, (the front pavement blocks will remain), but it's up to you guys to tell us what to do with them.

So.. keep or remove back layer pavement blocks?

We're just talking about HALF BLOCKS, the back layer itself won't be removed!

I'm sorry. But what are the "back pavement blocks"?
I know the game has a foreground and background. Are you saying get rid of the background?

What would it look like if the back layer of blocks were taken away? I know it wouldn't make a huge difference when mining underground, but what would the interior of buildings look like? We wouldn't be able to build a 'wall' background? It would just be the sky background layer?

You know they're only thinking taking away half blocks. Those have to be over a full block anyways.
